If you have the taste for some Mexican food, this is your spot! The food hits the spot, and the people who own/work here will make you feel like family. Probably why the food is so good... it's made with love!

My girlfriend and I frequent this joint and all we get is he jalapeño poppers... one order after another. Not the kind of poppers anywhere else! No cream cheese BS. They are huge, locally grown peppers stuffed with cheese (jack maybe?) deep fried but never greasy and served with queso. Three to an order and three are never enough! Also the chips come with a unique salsa that has fresh cabbage in it. YUM

I really don't understand how this place has such a high rating--pretty much every low review matches my experience and I wish I had heeded their warnings. Two stars for service, but otherwise bland forgettable food. Even the salsa didn't taste quite right, it contains cabbage, and it was strangely served in syrup containers. I definitely don't plan to return.

Wife and I live for Mexican food and South of the Border eateries... yes, were in Humboldt County now, so the choices are a bit scarce. Pachanga was a total disappointment and possibly even a risky choice. The tortillas were not fresh, in fact my wife said hers was "Rancid" ...the rice was cooked long before it was served, like a few days before. The beans were whole (thank you for that... they were the best part of the meal). I can't recommend this place, we won't return. Let's just say there were "issues" that lasted thru the night.

Great food, service and establishment, even the music. Funny to watch across the street, the people driving through fast food when they could be eating here!
